For consideration I would suggest a U2 Class which is the small bore T/As, consisting of, to mention a few, Datsun 510, Porsche 911, Alfa GTA, Cortina, Mini, BMW 1800, etc (RTRs and resin allowed). This could be basically an open class and plastic chassis only (3D allowed). This'll make the front-engined Fly Alfas competitive for example. Also, No big fendered cars allowed, so no Fly Porsche 911s allowed for example - it'll have to be an MRRC 911 if that is your bent. And I think the 14K H&R motor would be a good choice here as well.
Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?

Other suggestions for voting: Cartrix for open wheel class Thunderslot Can-Am I like Thunderslot, and Cartrix. Vintage Le mans would work for me however my Porche le mans is a 1967.

There needs to be a true vintage class this year, after all, this is the vintage club--maybe a Cheetah class (Strombecker and Cox did them) or a GT40 class (Cox, Strombecker, Monogram). I'm sure there are other choices out there. I like the under 2.0L T/A class--we did it a few years ago and it was a fun class. I also like the Cartrix class--these are great cars to run. Tom

These are all good ideas and we are sure to get more but as to specifics, that won't be determined until we have the classes decided. We try to have a variety of levels of modification so guys who like to throw away all but the body and start over can and guys who like original cars can have a class to compete in also. As for true vintage, I suggest we try to find something new if possible, maybe size limited 1/24th.

Fly Classics, Ninco Classics, Carrera Classics (Cobras, Ferrari 365s, Porsche 917s) just to put a few more out there. Tom

Tim we could still run at your house and substitute your choice as a 3dr class such as IROC or proxy or anything else we have. David

A 70-74 LeMans class would follow up from what we have run in the past. A Vintage Muscle car class, may have to include Pony Cars. I have a K&B/Aurora Pontiac GTO that hasn't been on the track yet.

I don't think we have ever run a Ninco classic series before, we would need a spec motor I think to level the playing field but I am all for it.

I dont think there is an adapter, I had to use a Ninco motor because the S can motor won't fit. Daryl was able to modify his to fit an S can motor but I chose to use the Ninco slower motor because I want to put the stock motor back in it when the class is over. Tom has another Ninco 14000 motor in stock that may or may not be better than the NC1 and NC8 motors which I would consider if allowed in the class.
