Thanks Doug, I was not expecting all that.
Is this only surpassed during a race?

My intent is to only acknowledge a "track record" time during a formal race meeting . . . with lots of witnesses in attendance.

Tim McQueen still holds the official track record (6.844 seconds) at Seven Lakes Raceway. However, during a practice session on October 2, 2020, I got pretty close to Tim's record . . . 6.994 seconds. Track voltage was set at 12.0 VDC. The car was a box stock Slot-it McLaren M8D fitted with Super Tires. David Asbury witnessed my quick lap. Doug L. (and yes, I am smiling.) Attachments:

I thought we were using 9 volts when Tim ran his time? Ha Ha
Way to go Doug!!!
I hope you have a different car if we run Cam Am cars some time soon. I will need to buy something faster when I race you, maybe I will use my 50k H&R motor to try to equal your time. Does anyone have an 18k stamp I can use for a day???
