I'd like to propose that the formal season for FRVSCC racing 2018 - 2019 start in September and end in March. My reasoning is as follows; the April and May, 2018 races were poorly attended. It takes some preparation and effort to host a race meeting, and a host might ask themselves WHY MAKE THE EFFORT, if only three or four racers will show up?
I personally am busy teaching MC safety classes most weekends from the end of March through early October. If a host chooses to hold a race in August or Sept or April or May, there's a good chance I will miss the race.
I like the idea of condensing the season to six or seven months during Fall and Winter, and still schedule eight or nine or ten race meetings in that time frame. It would allow us plenty of time for racing and socializing.
What are your thoughts?

That works for me, Doug. Let's just hope the weather cooperates for everyone.
