Hello. I'm new to the group. My name is Mark. I live in Ct. I've joined this group to meet other slot car enthusiasts. There aren't any other groups in my area so I feel like a lone wolf. My interests are classic vintage 1/32 slot cars. I've got a lot of eldon, strombecker, revell , and a few KB AURORA. My main focus is on American muscle cars like the eldon mopars etc. I like drag stuff and midgets. I have a great passion for 1950's era sports cars like MGA, triumphs. I plan on building a small 4 lane vintage revell setup. I have all of the track. I'm hoping to get to know the group and talk slots but because of distance I won't be completing any time soon. Thanks To Daryl Payne for telling me about the group.

Welcome, Mark. It sounds like your interests are right up our alley. We don't do any drag racing in our group, but we run almost everything else, from '30s F1 to '80s GP C cars and everything in between. Tom

Thanks Tom. I'm on this sight with my phone and I'm still trying to figure it out. I've got about 50 vintage slots from new condition to total restoration projects. I just picked up a 1/32 revell 289 cobra off EBay. It's missing some trim but I have what's missing on a parts car. It's a sloppy glue job on roof but never painted. Daryl posted a strombecker rear bumper wanted post for me. I might have stuff to trade for one or buy. Do you own a hobby shop in your area?

Mark. Another Mark here. I've some 1/25 drag cars I'd love to get rid of if you're interested. All are wire frame and built by local hot shoe, Tim Howard (chassis) except for the T/F rail. Bodies are a Christine Pro Mod, '57 Chevy funny car, Ford Thunderbolt and a Fiat Toploino made up with a Willie Borch Altered for added detail. The rail is built using a Winnebago sponsored livery.
And welcome to the club.

Thanks for the welcome Mark! I should clarify the drag stuff comment. I like 1/32 cars. I've sold a lot of my vintage large scale slot cars. The last of it is on EBay right now. My seller name is catdaddy1960. I like the eldon eliminator dragsters and strombecker rails. They may be considered larger than 1/32. Also customs of American muscle painted to look like vintage pro stock cars. Jalopy style hot rod slots as well. Your drag cars sound cool but not in my wheel house. Thanks for thinking of me. I would love to get a complete Eldon top eliminator dragstrip in working condition that had price that is reasonable. I also have a nice old monogram MGA static model that I'd like to convert to a slot car. If anyone has the correct monogram chassis for sale or trade please let me know. Some trades off the top of my head I'm sure I have but need to verify condition are revell 1/32 cougar, an eldon charger.a revell split window Corvette, A strombecker Lola T70?, CARRERA track in new condition. I have a lot of project cars also.
