Tim,, the timing electronics are from TrakMate, I bought the kit for the lights,, just the led infrared diodes, circuit board and a few resisters to solder together,, cost , humm under 15$ . I just built the bridge out of PlayStruct styrene "open trusses" and left enough room for the circuit board to rest in it. It is similiar to a bridge I have in a picture of an early Targa Florio,, circa 1964. The lights were previously between 2 paint stirring sticks, and a couple small pieces of 2x4 pine.

Looks great, Maybe I can use your plans and idea to build on for my track. Then I could remove the light in the sky and not worry about anyone false tripping the timing.

jim, would be glad to give you a "parts list" like i said,, the light kit is around 15 dollars.
