I started slot cars with these cars, none of which do I still have, but I have seen many racers who are rebuilding these cars. Some are derailing the body and keeping the stock drive line but some are keeping the chassis and motor but replacing the axles wheels and tires. See the attached photos. Class would require stock body, chassis, motor and keep gearing and tire diameter. Rules would need to be worked out. This is about an Eldon class.

No 1/24th. How about a manufacturers class--Monogram, Revell, Cox, etc. Tom

I would like to see the 70mm and less wheelbase class again. Just wouldn't want the Dennis Sampson chassis cars. We used a 14k motor limit and it worked. Fender flairs were on most Resin bodied cars, so that should still be included.
Vintage - Muscle cars, such as Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, Pontiac GTO, Javelin, AMX and Corvette.

Fly classics (limited), Fly 80s rally cars (limited), true vintage 1 1/2 liter F1 (we haven't run these in a while), Monogram/Revell Ferrari challenge ( 250 GTO, 330LM, 275P, etc).

1. Fly Porsche 917LH (Langheck or long tail) vs. Fly Ferrari 512 S Coda Lunga (Long tail) with wheel, axle, gear and possibly motor upgrade. 2. Home built brass chassis in something. Possibly a resin car (manufactured by me?) painted and decaled. 3. MGB vs Triumph TR4 plastic model kits... here it comes again... with a home built brass chassis.

And we should also ad Alfa 2000 Spyder and the Revell Austin Healey among others.

I'm thinking an early 4 door sedan class might be fun or the later DTM cars if we want to go fast.
