We all had good close racing, except with Doug's 1/24th F1 that had us all beat, so here are our quick lap in each lane.

Rolly Polly
Doug 8.268 8.093 7.976 Chris 8.223 8.204 8.033 Mark W 7.960 8.056 8.085 Jim 8.161 7.986 7.995
60's NASCAR
Doug 7.592 7.565 7.302 Chris 7.376 7.513 7.296 Mark W 7.472 7.560 7.503 Jim 7.307 7.370 7.271
I was able to go back and look at all of the racing results and used the quick laps in each race from each racer.

One thing it didn't show was the almost photo finish in the very last race. I had been leading Chris by as much as 10 feet until the very end when power was removed, and the race ended. He was able to catch and pass my car with a good coast. He won by a bumper!!! I think I could have held him off, if I was the one on the outside lane during the coast. That's my story that I will tell Chris's wife next time I am at his house.

Racing was intense throughout the day. In the Vintage F1 class Richie Ginther got into Turn One too hot with his Honda, forgot which pedal activated his brakes, bounced off the track barrier, rolled the car, and with it his head . . . down the track. The ambulance was on the scene quickly, but alas, it was too late for Mr. Ginther. In other action, the second photo shows just how close the Vintage F1 heat racing was. Attachments:

In the NASCAR class a heat race appears to be a photo finish between Jim and Chris. I think we need to check the finish at a different angle, I didn't see it from my driver's station. Oh, there was a building in the way! Good job Chris.
