The first real test of this track will be September 17th, 2022.
The tack will be hosting the First Annual Enduro for Slot-it Group C cars. Stock cars without magnets, no other changes but tires. Cars will need lights as we will run part of the race with room lights off. Cars must meet minimum ground rules
Flyer on the event to be out shortly.
Will be limited to 4 teams of up to 5 drivers per team.
Lunch will be served between sessions.

Race is coming together well. We look to have 4 teams with 3 to 4 drivers per team. I have come up with a way to darken the space so we can run the night race section. Appears that we have at least 5 cars with lights.
Lunch / Dinner is set for Carolina Pulled Pork with potato salad, coleslaw and chips. Racers are bringing desert with pie, brownies and cookies.
Let me know if anyone who is not also on the RMSCC site will be attending.
Thanks Mark W

Doug, Sorry had posted them on the RMSCC thread and forgot about putting them here. We had 12 drivers run making 4 teams of three. We did the qualification run with a RevoSlot Porsche GT1 using a DS 35-ohm controller without adjustments. Top for drivers were the lead for each team and the slowest went to team A, Second Slowest to Team B...... The "Silver Drivers" were selected by the teams. We broke the sections down to 6 20min sections then a lane and driver change. This gave all teams three runs on each lane. The teams were allowed to set up the order which seemed to work well but a recommendation was made that next time we do a hot sway of the drivers. I would have to run this to fully understand how it works to cover all the lanes and force the team to run and help the slowest driver on the team. The second-place team, did a great job or this and the slowest driver on Team D, put in great consistent runs. Some car issues showed up as Team A had to go to a backup car at the start as a wire from the guide broke prior to the start. They also had issues with the backup car, and race director made a call to allow them a third car as the first never had taken a lap. They finish second with a car from Team D, that did not get run. The winning team also had car issues and went to a back up as the rear axle moved allowing the tire to rub on the chassis. The other two teams used the same car for all laps. I had estimated that we would be close to 3,000 laps and you will see the winning team was just under that. In all 13,000+/- laps were done on the track on race day. A Pulled Pork lunch was provided and with the weather as nice as it was, we all spent time up on the patio. See the attached information. I am considering doing the same race next year at a similar time. I like the idea of the two-hour run being done with the lights off. It was surprising how close the times were in the dark compared to full lights. I think I would also keep the same cars / types and rules.
