If December 3rd would work, I could host the race. Track open at 11:30, race start at 1:00. This is a Scalextric 4 lane track with 35 amp power supply to run 4 vintage cars at one time. Bring your own controller, I have several Professor Motor adjustable controllers if needed.

Looking forward to seeing all the racers tomorrow at Warren Lake International Raceway for our third race. Track will open at 11:00 with racing to start at 1:00. I will have some pizza, drinks and other stuff to munch on as you race. Snow up here is mostly much gone, but a few patches in our subdivision.
You can run your own controller, but we have three house Professor Motor Controllers if you need. Only T-N-T tire cleaner is allowed, and we will run the track counterclockwise. Currently I have 10.22 volts going to the track but may up that to 12 volts for the vintage cars. I have full 25 amps available at the track, so even the vintage cars should work well. Trackmate is up and running and I have asked Mark G. to do his spreadsheet for all the classes as he does for the RMSCC events. We will get this put on this thread once completed. For those who have not been here, track length is 55 feet for the red lane and 50 feet for the yellow lane. It is a Scalextric 4 Lane track so; wood track guides will not work. They will need to be thinner to fit the track and you may have to shorten as both the red and yellow lanes have Full R1 turns. Lap time should be from the high 3.9's for the 86/89 cars, 4.1 for the TransAm and 4.2 for the Strombecker.
You do not need to take off your shoes but please clean them as much as possible before coming into the house. The stairs to the basement can be a little slippery so be careful when using them. You can leave your coats on the couch in the living room. We have pit space in the room with the track and second pit area in the home theater.
Before racing starts, I thought it would be a good time to talk about the upcoming class on building metal chassis. Mark M, I am hoping you will be able to make the race, but I will get a show of hands who is interested and can show them the chassis and cars that I have.
Thanks Mark W
