I came across the attached spreadsheet online and thought that it was helpful, and since so many of our members have Thunderslot cars in their stable, i thought I would share the information. I purchased my first Thunderslot car, McLaren Elva #97, from Colpar Hobbies last week. My initial reaction to the car is VERY positive. However, I discovered that one needs a Torx #6 driver to remove the chassis screws. (Thus the reason for the spreadsheet attached below.) Doug L.

you'd think at that hefty price that a proper tool would be included!

I had bought a Mini screwdriver set from Sears when I was needing the small Phillips screwdrivers for my slot cars. It included torx screwdrivers in the set as well as the small flat tip screwdrivers. I carry some of the tools in my slot box. The sizes and type are stamped on the side of each screwdriver. It may have cost me $20/$30 back then. I have paid that much for a single 0.035" screwdriver now days. I don't remember any of my cars having a 0.050" inch wrench for the allen screws.
