Does the club want to do the swap meet this year? I know we had a low turnout last year, but I think maybe we should try it one more time. With some new members maybe looking to get into the vintage club, it might be worth one more try. Let me know. Tom

Why not make it a joint Vintage and Modern swap meet since some people do show up with the modern stuff too? Combine it with some sort of possibly manufacturer sponsored race (advertised beforehand on Craigslist, HRW, SCI, hand out flyers, etc) at the store track or open the track for running and you might draw more interest.

Being a slot car swap meet, any vintage or modern slot car is allowed. The track is usually open for the meet but I don't know about having a race during the swap meet, it might be too much going on.

What about making it a car model swap only, no military.....slot, static, r/c, even the dreaded diecasts? I think many of us cross over a little if the truth is known... If possible, have the tracks both open for demos or casual running.

I like that too. I have a few items in the diecast, HO and 1/32 slotcar that I’d like to “swap”. Marc
