This was a pretty awful white kit with mold lines everywhere and multiple straight edges making up what should be compound curves. I sanded everything down and used a bit of filler and finally ended up with this. I swapped out the stock plastic rims with some Slot Its and they'll be replaced with ones of the correct diameter - in the meantime I painted them gold (not a very good match). Went with a yellow which in hindsight probably should be brighter but it's what I had on hand in a rattle can. Decals are from lemansdecals.com. A bit of a pin wash and a final coat of semi-gloss instead of my usual flat coat this time around and the exhaust needs some weathering now that I look at it.

Terrific work Mark. The body looks very smooth and the lines look perfect. Your sanding paid off. I am envious of your modeling skill.
