Hello: I had the good fortune today to find NOS in the box(s) Strombecker track pieces. Each box has 2 track pieces and from what I can tell it is ( in my opinion) the better track that is Stainless and magnetic not the aluminum glued on strips. I have 12 straight tracks 6 boxes- and 3 boxes of curved track. The curves have guard rails with them also Most of the sealed boxes have the little retainer clips that always get lost. I am asking $5.00 per box plus shipping. or I can bring it with me to the swap meet in October. I also have a large quantity of Strombecker track with many accessories ( hump track Lemans start with flagman etc I don't have an inventory of that particular box but know its heavy) Let me know if there is any interest in this please. Thank you Clyde-0-Mite

Hi Clyde, a nice find, esp. new in their boxes, but from my experience don't get too excited about moving it along for cash. When I was more aggressively collecting, I ended up with a boatload of Strommie track, and would dutifully haul it to the swaps with no takers. Then about 15 years ago I just started giving it away to people who showed interest, and with the stuff I had left I just completed a 46 ft. course in my basement last year. That being said, if you could ebay it that would be your best bet, as there are some Strombecker collectors out there who would pay a bit for NOS track in it's boxes.
