Trackmate is working!!! It just needs a little tweaking in the sound department. Next week I'll start the copper taping and scenery. Shouldn't be too much longer.

Track is all taped and the cars run great on it. No power loss for the vintage cars or any car. I'll resume the landscaping next week.

The track is officially open!! Members race for free, non-members pay $7.50/hr for using their own equipment, and $9.00/hr for renting equipment--car, controller, or both.

Tom - glad to see that you are using TRACKMATE as your timing software. (My experience is that TRACKMATE is dead-nuts-solid and reliable.)

I traveled down to Denver last Saturday (6 Sep 2014). I stopped in at Colpar Hobbies to say hello to Tom D. Purchased a couple sets of Super Tires. And ran my slot cars (the three classes that we are contesting this year) on the big 4-lane track, set up on the lower level of the hobby store. BIG FUN. I had the whole track to myself. (Just a reminder that FRVSC&HRC members can use the track for free.) Thanks to Colpar for their generosity.
