Been thinking about Clark's win in this car 45 years ago (!), and here comes an article in my new Motor Trend Classic how the Ford museum released the car to Historic Team Lotus for a complete restoration this past year. Even called in all the old guys who worked on it to give input/guidance. First appearance was at the Goodwood Festival in England where Jackie Stewart, Clark's good friend, was authorized to "take it up the hill" Google it for the video clip. Of course Lord March was also given a go in it, seeing it's his front yard! Now it seems it has made it home to Indy; check out "Dario's Dream" wherein the current 500 champ takes it around the oval; it's at RoadandTrack.com. Watch the pit entrance; looks like teammate Bobby John's #83 was also there! Why wasn't I invited? Oh well, I'll just take my 45 year old Strombecker for a spin!

Thanks for the suggestion, Steve. The Lotus 38 was (still is) a gorgeous car.
