Hi Dave,
I know it stretches the point, but I was thinking that the Superformance production /reproduction might be allowed to sneak in since it's a streetable machine. You know, I don't think the vintage police are going to get after us on this after all, but I know it's not my decision. The same thinking applioes to the Ford GT.
Are there really slot cars in 1/32 of the Sunbeam Tiger, Maserati Bora, and 450 SL out there? Wow. I didn't have any idea.

The only Tiger I know of is the old Scalextric Hong Kong one, and it would be a stinker anyway. So you'd be stuck trying to find the old Aurora static and converting it; and it's quite rare/expensive. I am happy with my old Revell Alpine, a wreck a guy sent me from England that I had to motorize/restore. As to the others, perhaps Beta of England has vac forms?? A rare treat, something Bill would like, Entex did a static of the 70's era Aston Martin v8, again, rare/expensive. MPC/Airfix did a Maserati Indy, but it's the 2+2 version of the Ghibli. At this point I would be eyeing my Scalextric L88 street Vette.

and I got to thinking further, will the v8's be required to be race ready (numbering, race driver and such), or is it to look more like a street venue?

I'm assuming they should be race cars, not street cars.

That's the way I imagined it, Tom, if my imagining counts. Race cars.
