Very impressive track. A lot of time and detail evident in the landscaping and buildings. It appears to me that if one de-slots, one runs the risk of taking out a barn, etc. (Wonder how hard the owner pushes his driving skills?)

If you want to see an absolutely incredible track, google up the MESAC track from California in the 60s.

I searched on MESAC and found some forum comments and photos. One of the forum's said Bob Schliecher had written about the MESAC track back in early 1970s. Six lanes and an amazing transition in and out of pitlane. Wow!

Yes, if you are having trouble finding it try www.vsrnonline.com/SearchIndex_TrackPlans.htmlThat is Bob's article, from Model Car and Track ( I do have a copy of that magazine, I will see if i can dig it out before the next race (not this sat, i cant make it) Mesac was kind of like a club railroad track, far too much for one person to maintain, even if he did finish building it it. Dan could probably tell us where it went. Kind of makes me wonder if Gene Wallingford had a track of his own. Have fun racing saturday, sorry i cant make it, work is a bummer, Daryl The Old Spa is just a great track scenary wise (I dont have a clue how it drove), and it is something that one person could build and maintain on their own. It does look a bit raw on the inside, some cloth curtains would have certainly finishe off the access holes. Some of the buildings look great and some look kind of toy like.
