word from Europe is that the Lotus is still expected before Christmas. Pendle said "the most pre-ordered car of the year". Hoping I can pick mine up on race day!

They say December release, just not what day, but I'll let everyone know as soon as I do. Tom

I had to go into the store today (alarm went off--nothing happened tho--just a fluke) and the 25s are here--they are tiny and gorgeous. I'll be there Thursday so you can come by and get them. I'll call the out of town guys and get them sent out to them. See you guys soon, and Merry Christmas. Tom

I went to Colpar yesterday and picked up a Lotus 25 from Tom. Only one left!! I put some Super Tires on it and pulled the magnet out, you must lift the motor to get the magnet out. With the high exhaust, there is not any interference in taking the body off other than separating the chassis and suspension pieces. Easiest F-1 to take apart. When I ran it on the track, I had to turn my controller's sensitivity way down, to try and drive this little rocket. I ran a couple other 60's F-1 cars with it and they were easier for me to drive. The Lotus 49 and Gurney Westlake, both were easier for me to drive. I will be trying to add some weight to the Lotus 25 help tame it down for me, maybe 4 pounds will do the trick for my slow reflexes.

I used Super Tires for the Ninco classic cars. the rear wheels are "15 x 7" wheels so Super Tires 1301, 1204R or 2000R will fit.

I'm not surprised that it is harder to drive than the Lotus 49 or Eagle give the size of the 25's tires and that rocket motor. I'll try it this weekend. Tom
