The Targa is a 91 foot 2 lane Carrera track. Power supply is by storage battery, with 4 amp breakers in each driving station. Timing is by TrakMate, with 2 19" monitors, one facing each driving station. The west end of the track is elevated, and represents the mountainous sections of the track's namesake. The east end of the track represents the urban sections where the track passed thru small Sicialian villages. More urban scenary is planned for the east section, and the mountain region is completed. The track is approx 40" high, the table-work is multi-shelved for storage; Two photos, one from the east end, one from the west end: A Carrera Track Planner file, the image is a mirror image of the actual track however: Three picture taken around the pit area, sorry for the poor focus in the first picture. The third picture depicts the vigor of the Italian fans: The track is about a 3 hour drive from Denver (yes I know, the Minnow was only on a 3 hour tour), hope some of you can make it out.

Daryl - that will be a nice addition to your Targa track. (Are you planning to crash through this sign, in honor of the LeMans movie?)

Photos of "Targa Scottsbluff" taken on October 23, 2016. Daryl has added a lot of infrastructure to his layout, since first erecting his race track.
Enjoy, Doug L.

Mark (A), thanks for joining the club. Feel free to add some pic of your 4 lane track to our forum. Yes, there are few commercial tracks. Closest one to me is in EstesPark CO. Off and on there has been a track in longmont or loveland CO. I have been toying with the idea of getting a 3d printer. If i new anything about them, I would probably had one by now. They do keep getting better and cheaper. It is kind of like buying something you know will be old style next year. Would be a great to make those little fixing for slot cars. Things like BUMPERS, F1 tranny cases, scenary items, you name it. Keep in touch with us. Daryl (Scottsbluff NE ( about 100 mi from Cheyenne Wy._)
